It was such a glorious sunny day here in old Melbourne town as it welcomed in the first day of winter. Although it was sunny, it was a little chilly so I had to pull out the heavy atilery when I was dressing this morning, as I had a few appointments and I wanted to finish the day with a walk in my local park and I knew by then it was going to be nearing sundown. So… for my hero piece (I always like to choose one item of clothing that is going to be a standout) I chose a coat from Cooper Street that I have had for about three years and it never fails to satisfy me and impress others. It is really warm and it has the most amazing features as you will see from the pictures below. Big statement sleeves and oversized collar and it has a full length zip which elongates my silhouette to make me appear to be a little taller and slimmer than what perhaps in reality I am. Perhaps. I am not saying definitely. But just perhaps that’s all.
My handbang is a Longchamp that I have had for 13 years!! You can buy a similar one here.
Ankle boots from Edward Meller on sale about a month ago.
Navy blue Suede-look Leggings from Kitch Boutique bought last year.
Sunglasses by Paul Smith bought two years ago.
For those that live in the southern hemisphere – how did you spend your first day of winter? And for our northern hemisphere friends – what did you get up to today?

Great winter outfit Jojo! I really envy you right now but I have to say though that the coat looks great on you. It actually complements your blond hair. Thanks for the lovely post, I really enjoyed it.
